It means time outside, grilling, swimming, gardening, exploring and soaking up the sunshine. It means short naps in the hammock and reading books with my son on the porch swing. It’s lemonade and honey bees and it doesn’t last long enough.

Summertime means that I’m going to bake and sweat and generally take off pounds.

It also generally means gardening and outdoor projects, which I look forward to.

But the best thing about summer is the fresh produce!
