Granted, April is very unstable, weather-wise.
But we did not expect it to HAIL.
Especially not that strong, with such big blobs.
Especially not in Israel… In April. Now way.

In this layout I recorded a funny memory of how Nadav’s cat, Uzi, was caught outside and didn’t have good cover.
Soon after the hail stopped we heard him meowing behind the door and he came in, completely soaked and miserable.
Then, like any cat would do when it reaches a safe and dry spot, Uzi shook his fur and hail-balls started falling out.
We couldn’t stop laughing.
Poor Uzi.
[Interesting fact: Uzi is a common name for red-haired kids in Israel. Or cats…]

We got hail here in Canada as well, big golf ball sizes. Did a number on our vehicles, siding on our house and window trim on my work shed.
The cat got over it quickly 🙂
Has it been hailing recently? It’s very frightening – hail storm in June… The weird thing about it was that it was in April and in Israel, where usually it’s either HOT, HOT, HOT or slightly chilly. Definitely not hailing.

It’s a fantastic layout Avital! Hail storms have done terrible damage in my area! We usually get a couple of them every summer! Sometimes the hail stones can be as big as baseballs! YIKES!! You don’t want to be outside then! lol :o)
