Alexandra's Thanksgiving mini

Alexandra has whipped up another gorgeous mini book using my printable journaling cards. She always makes them look a lot better than they really are 🙂

But wait, there’s more.

Alexandra also included step by step instructions on her post, so you can also make this beautiful Thanksgiving mini.

So in the spirit of Thanksgiving – THANK A BUNCH ALEXANDRA!

Alexandra

Alexandra shared with me this beautiful keepsake pocket she created to remember the day she met ROBERT REDFORD. (I’m so jealous…)

Isn’t it beautiful?

In that project I spotted my stitched banners as well as my “Back to Basics” labels.

I love Alexandra…

Alexandra is an extraordinary keeper of past memories and creator of future ones.

She has a great eye for enchanting photography.

She has fabulous style that shines through her striking layouts and cards.

She has a one-of-a-kind soul that is conveyed by her beautiful words – both in English and in French.

Alexandra is extraordinary.

Fancy Schmancy labels - Alexandra
[Distressed frame is from Digi Essentials 11 by Karla Dudley.]

Alexandra sent me these pictures of a layout she created, using the Fancy Schmancy labels I shared last week. Leave it to Alexandra to take regular labels and make something that is nothing short of an art masterpiece with them.

She desaturated the colors of the label with Photoshop and after printing and cutting them, she misted the label a bit to give it more depth and a vintage touch – or in other words, the Alexandra touch.

I love what Alexandra did with my labels. She made them her own.

Where can you find Alexandra?

Free Journaling Labels

Remember this set of printable journaling cards?

Well, this Forensic Report Mini book by Swedish mixed media artist Hanna Andersson took me by surprise. I follow Hannah and adore her art and wasn’t expecting to see my cards being used by her.

Thus spotting these journaling cards on one of her pieces had left a huge grin on my face.

I also love the idea behind the “forensic report” mini.

Please take a peek at her work. It’s ahhh-mazing.

Aren’t my readers the awesomest? Yes they are. They totally are!

Please feel free to share your pages with me. I love seeing my printables being used and loved.

Monika Wright – Reader Highlight

Every Friday (almost…) I put up a set of free printable labels for you guys and I always ask what are you planning to do with those journaling labels.

I always enjoy reading all the creative ideas you share with me on what to do with those labels.

However, what I enjoy the most is seeing projects you’ve made with my labels or based on my tutorials or workshops. Those e-mails or comments really warm up my heart.

A few days ago I got an e-mail from one of my readers, Monika Wright, who has recently discovered my blog through Celeste Smith’s blog. Monika sent me a link to an album she made, using my labels (among many others).

Monika is amazingly talented and super creative. I love her blog and I am totally in love with the mini album Monika made. Isn’t she amazing???
